Clutch Connect is an on-demand marketplace that connects homeowners and businesses ("Customers") with independent, vetted tradespeople ("Pros"). Clutch Connect provides the platform for booking and payment but is not the service provider itself.2. Booking & Payments
Upfront Payment: To secure a booking, Customers pay a Call-Out Fee or the full service fee upfront via our secure payment partner, Paystack.Fund Holding: Clutch Connect holds these funds securely. Payment is only released to the Pro once the job is marked as "Completed" or if no dispute is raised within 24 hours of the service.Pricing: All base prices (Call-Out Fees) are displayed on the platform. Any additional labor or materials required will be quoted by the Pro on-site and must be paid through the platform to remain covered by our guarantee.3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer Cancellation: You may cancel your booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled time for a full 100% refund.Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment will incur a R150 "Pro-Commute" fee to compensate the professional for their travel time. The remainder will be refunded.Provider No-Show: If a Pro fails to arrive at the scheduled time, you are entitled to a 100% refund or a priority reschedule at no extra cost.Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are unhappy with the service, you must notify [email protected] within 24 hours. We will mediate the dispute and, if justified, process a partial or full refund.4. Vetting & Safety
Every Pro on Clutch Connect undergoes a strict identity verification and background check. However, Customers are encouraged to exercise standard safety precautions. Clutch Connect is not liable for incidental damages but will remove any Pro who fails to meet our high quality and safety standards.5. Privacy & POPIA
We value your data. By using this site, you consent to us sharing your contact details with the assigned Pro solely for the purpose of completing your requested service. Your data is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).Refunds & Cancellations:Customer Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled booking will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations within 2 hours incur a R150 "Pro-Commute" fee.Provider No-Show: If a Clutch Pro fails to arrive, the customer is entitled to a 100% refund or a rescheduled booking at no extra cost.Dispute Resolution:
